My Top Ten Movies

I realize that I like watching movies although I’m not a huge moviegoers πŸ˜€
Thus, I tried to make a list of my fave movies of all time. Actually it’s not really 10 movies since there are some trilogies on the list. And apparently, I can’t decide which movie in which number, except for top three. (I’m quite sure for the top three!)

Here there are:
1. To Kill A Mockingbird (1962) – the best πŸ˜€ – a film based on Harper Lee’s book
2. The Lord of the Ring (trilogy) – based on JRR Tolkien’s book.
3. Star Wars saga (especially Star Wars IV: A New Hope and Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith)
4. You’ve Got Mail – I want to have a bookshop around the corner because of watching this movie.
5. Kill Bill vol. 1 and 2 – a lil’ bit cruel but I like it
6. The Sixth Sense – woww .. do not watch this movie alone!
7. The Bourne trilogy and The Godfather – tied – hmmm … maybe it should be placed in number 5.
8. The Shawshank Redemption and Dead Poets Society.
9. Sabrina (Harrison Ford’s version) not Audrey Hepburn’s version (1954)
I’ve watched both of the movies and I think Ford’s version is better πŸ˜€
10. The Bucket List and August Rush
If you love traveling, The Bucket List is a must see movie. About August Rush, some people maybe won’t put this movie as their top ten, but for me this is worth to be placed in my top ten list.

See, the list is more than ten πŸ˜€ Maybe there are some movies that I forget. So, the list will get longer and longer πŸ˜€

Two pictures below are taken from “To Kill A Mockingbird”.

It’s been so long since the last time I updated my blog. Cos I still having my summer holiday. Well, actually my holiday has ended since I joined summer school πŸ˜€

Hmmm … I visited Melbourne Jan 19-27. But somehow I was too lazy to write my journey. Of course I had many beautiful moments there, including watching Australian Open 2011 live in Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne Park. It was amazing to see Roger Federer … Terpersona lah pokoknya liat Federer maen πŸ™‚ However I’m not going to write my Melbourne experience, it’s late now in Adelaide. Time to bed!

Welcome to Laisya : A New Hope

This is a blog about my journey, my story, and my "curhat". "Laisya : A New Hope" is inspired by "Star Wars IV : A New Hope". (I love Star Wars Saga :D). This is my new blog to replace "Laisya and Her World". Well, actually I made this blog long time ago, before I made "Laisya and Her World". However, for certain reason, I have to leave "Laisya and Her World" and start this new (but old) blog :)

More about me??

Now, I live in Jakarta but I'll always love Bandung as my hometown. I used to live in Adelaide, South Australia for two years due to my study (master degree). I like reading, swimming, watching movies, and travelling. I have a dream to visit all interesting places in this planet. I hope my dream will come true someday. Am I a dreamer? Maybe, but why not?? Sometimes I envy TV reporters whom travel around the world for free, and they were paid. Gee, that is a Dream Job! :D Daydream? Yeaah, whatever lah :P.

Too many "dream" words here, maybe I actually should put "Laisya and Her Dream" as a blog title :D.

Enjoy your day!
