My Top Ten Movies

I realize that I like watching movies although I’m not a huge moviegoers 😀
Thus, I tried to make a list of my fave movies of all time. Actually it’s not really 10 movies since there are some trilogies on the list. And apparently, I can’t decide which movie in which number, except for top three. (I’m quite sure for the top three!)

Here there are:
1. To Kill A Mockingbird (1962) – the best 😀 – a film based on Harper Lee’s book
2. The Lord of the Ring (trilogy) – based on JRR Tolkien’s book.
3. Star Wars saga (especially Star Wars IV: A New Hope and Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith)
4. You’ve Got Mail – I want to have a bookshop around the corner because of watching this movie.
5. Kill Bill vol. 1 and 2 – a lil’ bit cruel but I like it
6. The Sixth Sense – woww .. do not watch this movie alone!
7. The Bourne trilogy and The Godfather – tied – hmmm … maybe it should be placed in number 5.
8. The Shawshank Redemption and Dead Poets Society.
9. Sabrina (Harrison Ford’s version) not Audrey Hepburn’s version (1954)
I’ve watched both of the movies and I think Ford’s version is better 😀
10. The Bucket List and August Rush
If you love traveling, The Bucket List is a must see movie. About August Rush, some people maybe won’t put this movie as their top ten, but for me this is worth to be placed in my top ten list.

See, the list is more than ten 😀 Maybe there are some movies that I forget. So, the list will get longer and longer 😀

Two pictures below are taken from “To Kill A Mockingbird”.

1. I love being at home (nothing better than coming home 🙂 ). It is true that traffic jam is everywhere in Bandung during the weekend (especially long weekend), but who care? I prefer to stay at home (tidduuurrr seharian 😳 atau ngaheureuyan ponakan-ponakan  )

6W5

Mau nulis tentang 6W5 ternyata udah keduluan ma Cipu … but it’s OK. I write my own version.

Apaan sih 6W5? Kalo kata Cipu sih, the best class ever (setujuuu!).

30 April 2010 – Auditorium – Closing Ceremony

Tidak terasa 6 minggu telah berlalu. Semua berawal dari februari yang lalu, I found out that I got ADS, I was very happy although at the same I was sad (opposite to Alia, the world always say NO to me). But hey, the last six weeks was an unforgettable moment.

Six “crazy” weeks with various characters of classmates. Here they are:

six weeks

This is a busy week for me. Starting by monday (March 22 until April 30, 2010) I have “new office” since I should attend 6 weeks training in Wisma Sentra Mulia, Kuningan, Jaksel. It means I have to depart at least 6 a.m. to catch 7.30 class. Now, metromini 69 and kopaja 66 become my “best friend” everyday (or tukang ojeg if I late  ). However, many “chaos” happen in this 1st week :sigh: This is a tough training with many assigments (3 papers in 6 weeks in English). Hah? … capeeee …

One of the Best Weekend I’ve Ever Had

Sabtu – Minggu, 20 – 21 Feb 2010

Aktivitas sabtu pagi berlangsung seperti biasa.

Nasihat Perpisahan

Tadi siang Ummi gak datang, tapi Ummi pesen supaya kami membahas Hadits Arba’in No. 28 tentang nasihat perpisahan.

Aaah, apakah Ummi sedang mempersiapkan bekal perpisahan untukku? Do’akan aku ya, semoga semuanya berjalan lancar 🙂 Hari ini aku agak “korslet” 😳 Aku kangen, pengen cerita sama Ummi.

Welcome to Laisya : A New Hope

This is a blog about my journey, my story, and my "curhat". "Laisya : A New Hope" is inspired by "Star Wars IV : A New Hope". (I love Star Wars Saga :D). This is my new blog to replace "Laisya and Her World". Well, actually I made this blog long time ago, before I made "Laisya and Her World". However, for certain reason, I have to leave "Laisya and Her World" and start this new (but old) blog :)

More about me??

Now, I live in Jakarta but I'll always love Bandung as my hometown. I used to live in Adelaide, South Australia for two years due to my study (master degree). I like reading, swimming, watching movies, and travelling. I have a dream to visit all interesting places in this planet. I hope my dream will come true someday. Am I a dreamer? Maybe, but why not?? Sometimes I envy TV reporters whom travel around the world for free, and they were paid. Gee, that is a Dream Job! :D Daydream? Yeaah, whatever lah :P.

Too many "dream" words here, maybe I actually should put "Laisya and Her Dream" as a blog title :D.

Enjoy your day!
